The certificate costs either $3,299 upfront, or $3,744 on one of 3 payment plan options available. You can enrol for as little as a $416 deposit and commence either payment plan when your intake commences.

What are the pre-requisites for this course?
The Graduate Diploma program requires completion of either an applied sports nutritional science degree (currently not available in New Zealand), or completion of the certificate in Applied Sports Nutrition. If you have completed an applied science program in New Zealand then apply for RPL and bridge from the cert.

Can anyone with a degree enrol in this?
Presently this program requires completion of the Graduate Diploma as a pre-requisite, as this program focuses on research reviewing and case study submissions in applied sports nutrition contexts, that would in fact ideally lead to the publication of the work.
How long does the course run for?
The MSc program runs for 18+ months, depending on rate of completion.
How much does the course cost?
The Master’s Program costs approximately $11,000 (British Pounds) to $15,500 (British Pounds) depending on undergraduate subject credit processes.
Insurance & Registration:
Can I call myself a Sports Nutritionist without being registered?
As far as Sports Nutrition New Zealand and the relevant state health ombudsman body’s it works alongside with the answer is no. Sports Nutritionist, and Accredited Sports Nutritionist are protected terms that in a professional setting carry with them defined liability and responsibility for best practise and duty of care.
What are the benefits of being registered?

How much does registration cost?
$432 per year broken into payments of $36 per month
What do I need to do to maintain my registration?
Annual CPD, and practise in line with the body’s Practising Standards and Scope Documents.
What happens if my registration lapses?
If it lapses for up to 0-6 months simply paying the outstanding balance and updating the body and insurer of any relevant information is all that is required. For any period greater than 6-months a mandatory refresher course of $899 (smaller than the certificate) is required to be completed prior to being eligible to renew. This ensures that you are practising with all relevant principles and standards in line with the body’s current stances.
